Jyunishi Comedy #105 Rest peacefully; at least for a while... We start this chapter will a beautiful color cover before starting into this chapter where we flashback to Hiro's words from last chapter. About how Rin's serious injuries had been caused by Akito pushing her out the window from the second floor. Haru, Hiro's words of how his relationship with Rin had been discovered and how she was trying to find a way to break the curse to release Haru from both Akito and herself still ringing in his ears, storms past some servants into Akito's room. Akito naturally doesn't know the reason for Haru storming into his room like that when the servants catch up and tell Haru that regardless of being 12shi, he can't just waltz in to Akito's rooms. However, Haru's very angry and yells at the hags to get lost. Akito, realising Haru's very angry, tells the servants that it's alright and that no doubt Haru has something important to talk about. Once the servants leave, Akito gently tells Haru to speak his mind when Haru demands to know why Akito did something like pushing Rin (out the window). Akito however, acts like she knows nothing of what Haru's talking about and asks where he'd heard such nonsense. "A revelation from Heaven" Haru's response, makes Akito laugh. However, Haru's not laughing and yells at Akito how it's not a laughing matter. He demands again why Akito did that, and if he was trying to kill her. Huh. To which Akito comments how Haru's always been nice to Rin from the beginning and wonders if it's from pity, sympathy or that Haru couldn't just leave (ignore/abandon) her. However, Haru doesn't stand for Akito's musings and yells that it's because he loves her. He continues on how he shouldn't bother asking such things given that Akito's known how he felt about Rin for some time now and instead demands to know where Rin is. Akito however, says that this is just stupid and wonders where these sorts of ideas come from. You were cold towards Rin But before Haru can yell at Akito to be more... Akito interrupts about being aware already. And yet, despite being aware of the consequences, Haru had still told Isuzu that he loves her. And instead, Haru demands again where Rin is... I said I don't know!! However, just then, both are interrupted in their argument by Kureno, who tells them both that Isuzu was taken to the hospital in Hatori's car. While she was barely conscious (muddled), she would recover from her ordeal. Akito Hearing this, Haru asks where Rin had been, to which Kureno tells him that she'd been locked up in the cat's building. Kureno continues to try to talk to Akito while Haru remembers a time when Rin woke in the middle of the night from a nightmare and how, she'd said that it was okay; Haru was with her. Akito, stunned that Kureno did what he'd done asks him how he could be so mean and to act on his own like that. To betray him* [*Was it chapter 98 where we saw chibi Akito and her father and heard Kureno's recount of when Akito was born? The concept of betrayal and the blood of the 12shi was brought up then... Hearing Akito speak of cruelty, Haru demands to know who was the cruel one. H: Were you trying to kill her again!! And Akito touches on something that Haru had been privately worried about; that he'd been stifling Isuzu in his desire to be with her and to have her to himself. [I knew Haru realises that in his desire to have Rin, he'd also been turning a blind eye, acting like he hadn't seen or didn't know about certain things. Wanting to protect her, yet also being vaguely aware of the reason behind her injuries. And despite that, being too afraid to know for certain the outcome of his putting his own desires first. Haru feels that despite wanting to protect Rin from the idiot adults, that he'd been no different from them, by acting like he wasn't vaguely aware of things. Finding out that even though Rin said things were alright, that they weren't alright and that she'd still been hurting in the shadows. Haru then goes to leave, when Akito tries to stop him, but Haru tells her not to talk; that it'll make him want to kill (her) and himself as well. Akito can only watch and cry for Haru to wait and not to go but to no avail. The next scene between Kureno and Haru though has me intrigued. Kureno tells Haru that he should go *without coming back* and that in a few days, Rin will be able to have visitors. (The "without coming back" isn't in the cruel way of 'get out and stay out', but more for their own sake.) And he tells him that no doubt, she wants to see him too since the first thing Isuzu said was Haru's name. When Kureno returns to Akito's room, Akito's is crouched on the floor crying wanting to know why everyone betrays him. Kureno tries to explain that it's not that people want to do that, but eventually everyone will... but before he can finish, Akito cries out: And in the end, we see Rin realising she can't find a place to return to. [Despite hurting others, Akito continues trying to protect her place; and the place where Isuzu should be--!?] © 2002-2006 Shadow - All rights reserved. |
