Always speaking in a joking manner, Shigure doesn't show his true self very much. His attitude towards Tohru is gentle, and he seems to be friendly but, from time to time, he has a cold expression. He also seems to know something about the 12shi's curse but, he evades teaching anything about the core of it. It's a mystery if he's Tohru's or Yuki's and Kyo's ally or enemy even. But, he's definitely planning something, and is involving Tohru in that. Over two years earlier, he'd gone out with Tohru and them's homeroom teacher: Shiraki Mayuko for one month. Mayuko dubbed him "ripples".

Personal Clothing Concept:
[If you've become an author then it's got to be a kimono] so for that reason he wears whatever~ kimono in a slop~py fashion. Before becoming an author (in other words, when he was at the main house), he'd wear whatever rough style clothing such as a shirt and jeans. "Whatever~" seems to also be one of his "poses." Sort of like "exhibiting" not having a clothing policy.

Tohru didn't know it but, Shigure's a pure literature author. But in truth he has a number of pennames and has written a number of different stories. Among them, the most highly sold is the girl's novel by "Kiritani Noa".

Shigure's Weakness

He's close to Hatori and Ayame who are the same age and occasionally let's his true self show to them. Among them, Hatori's position is to dig at Shigure's bothering manner of speech and to lecture him. That's why when occasionally agreed with, he becomes uncertain instead.

Cool-headed Schemer

Behind Shigure's charming expression hides a cool-headed strategist. If it's for his own goal, he'll use whatever he has to. Tohru or Yuki, Kyo...... even Akito. Not only that, but he himself doesn't try to join forces with others. Even with Isuzu who's trying to remove the curse, there's no indication that he was moved things.

The dream that Shigure's generation all saw at the same time. That dream was of Akito's soul quickening inside Ren. The three of them went to Ren and shed tears of joy.

In a certain sense, the one most held captive by Akito - God - is Shigure. At times that twisted love is so strong that it hurts Akito and torments her. Shigure, knowing that that's the case, at times deliberately hounds her. Almost as though enjoying her falling apart......

Nicknamed Micchan. Editor responsible for Shigure's novels, she's an extreme worrywort. Becoming frenzied by Shigure's disappearing before deadlines, it seems like she causes a commotion each time. However, that in return makes Shigure very happy. Of the same insane type, she gets along well with Ritsu.
