RandomFandom Music Videos!

Here are the music videos I've created. The go in reverse chronological order with the oldest at the top and the newest towards the bottom.

Most videos will have two links. One is to a .RM file hosted here on the webpage. Just right-click on the link and "save file as" to save it to your computer to view. (You'll need realplayer to view it, you can get it for free of their website.) The other is to a higher quality .avi or .mpg version hosted on a ftp run off a personal computer. Read the FTP RULES before attempting to download from those links.

My real first music videos were eaten in a hard drive crash a while ago, lucky for all of you. This was I think my third music video. It features Modoka from the anime series Kimagure Orange Road and the Wonder Woman theme song from the old 70's show. Yeah, I know I'm weird. ^_^ Anyway, this video isn't very good, but it was fun to make so I thought I'd share it anyway. This one's only availalbe on the ftp currently.

This one features the anime Gravitation and the David Bowie song "Fame" covered by the band "God Lives Underwater". This video really sucks. No really, it's bad. I knew a lot less about editing when I made this than I do now and it shows. First, I copped out and resorted to false "widescreen" bars to cover up the subs and didn't even manage to get that right. (Sometimes you can see the subs peeking out). Second, somewhere along the way I started to play with filters and effects in this video and completely lost track of what I was trying to say with the video. So while there are some "neat" looking sections, I don't think it flows at all. This video is only available in .RM and only on the FTP.

Yuki Version
Yuki Version!
This was the first music video I made for Fruits Basket. Despite the picture above it's a Yuki-centric video. It's set to Smash Mouth's Cover of "I'm a Believer" and focuses on Tooru and Yuki's relationship. So far this is the one people seem to like the most. I'm glad people seem to be having as much fun with it as I did making it. I do have in the works a companion to this one that is Kyou-centric. UPDATE! The Kyou version of this video has been created! Scroll down for info and too download!

This one is actually a contemporary of the Madoka video. At least, thats when I started it. It took over a year and a half to complete. That's mostly because I finished it four times. Twice my computer ate it, the third time I scrapped it because I realized I'd made some mistakes really early on and knew I could do better. Well you know what they say, fourth times the charm. (er..well you know what I mean.) Unfortunatly, I'm the only who seems to like this video. ;_; The song is "Into the Night" by Qkumba Zoo, and the anime is the Revolutionary Girl Utena Movie.

Here's the second music video I made for Fruits Basket. This one focuses on Yuki's fanclub and their obession for him. It's set to the song "LoveFool" by the Cardigans. The main character of the video doesn't appear in the series until episode 18 so some might consider this as containing spoilers. If you want to know who she is, click here.

Kyou Version
Kyou Version!

This is the Kyou-centric version of the Believer music video above. This video centers around Kyou and Tooru's relationship. It's extremly similar to the one above.

This video took second place at Shoujocon's Music Video Contest! ^o^ I was so pleased that people seemd to have fun while they watched it. It was fun watching people laugh at all the right times and go "awww!" at all the right times too. It was the first contest I ever entered and considering the quality of the other videos entered I'm amazed I placed.
