Chapter 110

It's the Golden Week at Shigure's house. (Due to 3 holidays falling few days apart from each other, businesses give employees a week-long time off from work calling it "Golden Week".) Everyone is busy so they decided not to go away for the holidays this year. As Tohru answers to Yuki about Shigure being out all day, her hand accidentally touches Kyou's and they both turn beet red. Seeing the two's awkward behavior, Yuki conveniently remembers an errand and dashes out the house.

Once outside Yuki feels as if he's a child caught between his mother and her lover when a woman calls him by his brother's name. When he explains Ayame is his older brother, she apologizes but looks at him nostalgically.

Back at Shigure's, Kyou and Tohru are still acting awkwardly. Kyou asks if she wants to go somewhere and Tohru shouts they need eggs at the store! As Tohru blushingly says she's just happy to go out with him, Kyou suddenly throws his fist into the wall. He tells her it's nothing while he asks himself he's being a perverted old man getting excited at her behavior.

Meanwhile, Hana-chan tells Uo-chan she senses Kyou turning into a perverted old man and going after Tohru. Uo-chan assures her Kyou wouldn't do such a thing, then Megumi (Hana-chan's little brother) suggests he curses Kyou just in case. ^^;

Yuki is being welcomed to Ayame's shop and already regrets for going there. Mine says they're out of tea and leaves. As Ayame begins to rattle on, Yuki tells him about the woman he met. Suddenly Ayame gets up and claims he must go apologize to her. After having Yuki explains it's probably too late to catch up to her, Ayame sits down and tells him about his past.

In the last year of high school, Student Council President of sister school, who often worked with Ayame on many events, confessed she was in love with Ayame. However, Ayame didn't remember her name and taunted her for her lack of personality to get noticed. Then Shigure commented she was beating the air making the matter worse. Hatori seemed to have lost patience and interrupted them by rapping on the wall. Girl claimed she was a fool and ran off. As Ayame claims he's confused at her attitude, Hatori explains there are some people whose feelings can get hurt regardless of his action being right or wrong.
Although he couldn't understand Hatori's comment back then, Ayame knew he was missing many important things.

Yuki asks his brother if Mine was the one who helped him realize and she is his girlfriend. Ayame confessed to her despite the fear of losing her and Mine said she is staying for being crazy about him. Suddenly he gets up again and laments over traumatizing the woman. Explaining she was smiling and couple people with her seemed to be her husband and child, Yuki says must be a great person. Ayame seems to admire Yuki's reaction and claims he still has a lot to learn. Then Yuki asks if Mine knows about the curse and Ayame quickly changes the subject. Mine conveniently returns bringing Manabe with her. One thing leads to another and Yuki finds himself convinced by the three to call Machi over to the shop. Later, Machi appears, and gets pursued by Ayame and Mine on what to wear.

Meanwhile, cats are gathering around Kyou carrying a grocery bag and Tohru says they love him. People walking by them comment he's a cat tamer. ^^;
