Fruits Basket Anime Resources! The Fruits Basket anime lasted for 26 episodes and one "Making Of" Special. It was originally aired on TV Tokyo, from July 5th, 2001 till December 27th, 2001. It roughly covered events in the manga in volumes 1-6 but with events slightly re-arranged. Currently there is no concrete news of any further Fruits Basket anime, but there are ever-present (FALSE!) rumors of a second season. If I hear anything definte or "for sure" I'll make sure to make a big announcement about it here.
