The Fruits Basket anime was licensed by Funimation in January 2002. The DVDs (there is no VHS release) are encoded in NTSC format and in Regions 1,2 and 4. That means it will play on any NTSC capable TV in the U.S., Canada, U.S. Territories (region 1), Japan, Europe, South Africa, and Middle East, including Egypt (region 2), Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, Central America, Mexico, South America, and the Caribbean (region 3).
