Sitting Winged Plush made for display at Shoujocon
2003.
Van's face, arms and tummy are made of robe velour.
His hair, shirt, pants, gloves and boots are made
out of soft suededcloth. His face was drawn in Adobe
Photoshop and printed out on iron-on inkjet fusable
sheets.
The feathered wings were purchased pre-made, and
like the shirt, are removeable. The wings are tied
on with a simple ribbon so they are very easy to take
on and off. The shirt can be carefully removed by
lifting the arms and tilting the head.
To date, Van is the largest plush I've made so far
at about 10 inches tall. He's extremely huggable and
fits well under an arm.
